Annual General Meeting

The Manitoba Nurses' Union's Annual General Meeting is held every year in April. Each year nearly 500 delegates listen to engaging speakers, discuss emerging issues and influence the course of the organization.

The AGM week also features “Surviving your first AGM,” an introduction for new attendees, as well as an education day where members have the opportunity to learn from one of many inspiring speakers. Join us April 19, 2010 at 7p.m. at the Roadhouse, located in the Canad Inns, Brandon.

As of 2007, the AGM will be held outside of Winnipeg on a regular basis.

The 2010 AGM will be held at the Keystone Centre in Brandon,MB on April 19-21.

This years keynote speaker is Tilda Shalof, a staff nurse in the Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Toronto General Hospital of the Univeristy Health Network.

She is also the author of several books, including the bestseller - A Nurse's Story.
