Dauphin grey-listing lifted
The Manitoba Nurses' Union Board of Directors has lifted the greylisting of Dauphin Regional Health Centre at its' April 26th meeting.  The lifting came in response to a request from the Dauphin Local.

MNU President Sandi Mowat said she is hopeful that the progress made since the hiring ban was imposed will continue.

"Both sides have worked hard to resolve issues.  We are committed to continue the process."

The grey-listing was put into place as a result of poor work conditions and patient safety concerns.

Nurses were advised by the union not to apply at the hospital, which was already short dozens of nurses.

As a result of a mediator’s work, conditions at the facility have improve
