| Health Innovations Conference hosted in Winnipeg |

MNU President Sandi Mowat will talk about the role of unions in health innovation at an upcoming conference in Winnipeg. The Health Innovations: Developing and Celebrating Innovations in Healthy Living and Health Care Delivery Conference will take place November 25 and 26 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre. The purpose of the conference is to teach participants about innovations and quality improvement initiatives throughout Manitoba, help them acquire practical tools to implement innovations and network with colleagues to generate ideas and build supportive relationships. Physicians, health care administrators, allied health professionals, academics, nurses, patients, public and the nurses union are expected to attend. The keynote speaker for the conference will be Philippa Robinson with England's Department of Health.
