Keep nurses in screening

The Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions (CFNU), representing 158,000 Canadian nurses and student nurses, has launched a campaign to keep nurses at the initial donor screening as opposed to replacing them with Multi-skilled Workers as suggested by The Canadian Blood Services (CBS).

CBS's proposal to replace nurses in the donor screening process is currently under review with Health Canada.
