Make healthcare a priority : CFNU

MNU President Sandi Mowat will join other nurses union presidents and the CFNU to remind premiers that healthcare has to be a number one priority.
Union representatives will speak to the premiers of 10 provinces and three territories about healthcare issues during the annual Council of the Federation meeting in Regina this week.
CFNU believes that the Council of the Federation meeting is an appropriate time for premiers to renew their vows on health care reform.
The CFNU will bring the issues of investing in a universal prescription drug program, expanding public home-care services and the health of poor Canadians to attention of the premiers.
