Mowat finishes touring Assiniboine and Central

Manitoba Nurses’ Union President Sandi Mowat hit the road again, continuing her province-wide tour of all locals and worksites. The Assiniboine Region covers an area of 32,134 square kilometres and operates 20 acute care facilities. Mowat finished up her tour of the region, visiting locals from Treherne to Minnedosa. 
Mowat then headed to Central Region, which provides health care services to almost 103,000 people. The region is made up of more than 18,900 square kilometres, including 37 municipalities and six First Nations. Mowat finished her tour of the Central Region, making stops at the Third Crossing Manor, Seven Regions Health Centre and the Macgregor Health Centre.
