Mowat starts new tour
MNU president Sandi Mowat has started a second round of touring health care facilities across the province.

"Touring gives me the opportunity to meet with nurses in all regions of the province and learn about the issues affecting them firsthand,"said Mowat.

The second round of touring kicked off with a two day trip to the Interlake region where Mowat met with members from several facilities including Lundar Personal Care Home, Arborg and District Health Centre, E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital(Eriksdale), Lakeshore General Hospital(Ashern),Betel Personal Care Home(Gimli) and dialysis nurses at the Johnson Memorial Hospital(Gimli).

Earlier this year Mowat fulfilled her pledge of visiting all worksites and locals in Manitoba - 135 in total.
