Earlier this year, MNU produced a series of videos featuring eight Manitoba nurses that were in different stages of their careers. Each two minute video highlights a specific theme of interest to members, student nurses or those interested in pursuing a career in nursing. Some themes include: types of nursing, the role of the union, professional development opportunities, advocating on behalf of nurses and patients and the expectations of nursing versus the reality of nursing.The videos were shot at the Misercordia Hospital and will be used in the coming years for various training, orientating and recruiting purposes and can be viewed via the MNU Video Vault. |
