Severance settlement for Kildonan RCCs
After months of uncertainty and strained negotiations, the unfair labour practice charged against the Kildonan Personal Care Home has been resolved.

MNU was able to secure an appropriate severance package from the corporation for the Resident Care Coordinators (RCC) who ended up losing their positions after joining the union.

The members who were terminated from Kildonan have resumed their careers in long term care facilities, with most of the nurses finding employment in facilities covered by MNU collective agreements.

MNU and Revera Living, the corporation that owns KPC, is currently bargaining to achieve a fair and equitable collective agreement for Resident Care Coordinators.
