The purpose of this survey is to better understand the role of attire worn by staff in hospitals and its relation to hospital acquired infections.

The goal of the research is to come up with solutions that may reduce secondary infections through the appropriate use of anti-microbial and other specialized fabrics, as well as changes in the design of uniforms for specific personnel within a hospital setting.

This research is supported by a grant from the federal government under the Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP).
