The MNU is pleased to welcome our newest local, Meadowood Manor Nurses Local 140. The Manitoba Nurses' Union was certified as the official bargaining agent for all nurses at Meadowood Manor, both RN and LPN, on July 3rd, 2008.

After many years as a non-unionized facility, the nurses of Meadowood Manor realized that they need to do something to address their concerns about job security and input into their working conditions. By joining the MNU, the nurses at Meadowood Manor now have a voice in their workplace.
