Main Street Project, which was MNU’s chosen charity for the 2022 AGM, is holding their first online 50/50 raffle to raise funds for their meal program for people experiencing homelessness.
This charity currently provides more than 1,000 meals a day through their programming! They do their best to ensure no one in our community goes hungry, and firmly believe access to nutritious food is fundamental to the well-being and dignity of every person they support.
Proceeds from this 50/50 raffle will support meals provided in their emergency shelter and transitional housing, supplementing donated food by buying fresh produce and other items for nutritious meals and the ongoing maintenance and operations of their food bank and kitchen facilities.
Raffle tickets are available for purchase via Main Street Project’s website. The draw date is February 1, 2024, at 10 a.m.
Since 1972, Main Street Project has served the needs of Winnipeg’s most vulnerable citizens by providing a place of respite, shelter and safety, with dignity and without judgement to the most vulnerable people in our community.
