The hilariously accurate healthcare musical Larry Saves the Canadian Healthcare System, which we featured in The Pulse back in 2022, has gone viral, with almost 80,000 YouTube views.

It follows an idealistic young policy analyst who dreams of achieving change from the inside. On his quest to find a cure for Emergency Room crowding, Larry encounters poorly designed systems, dubious improvement projects, bankrupt ideas (a.k.a. private healthcare), and the ghost of Tommy Douglas.

Enjoy it on the big screen at the Gargoyle Theatre, located at 585 Ellice Avenue in Winnipeg, followed by a panel and Q&A on the show and the issues it unmasks.

It is playing over two nights, Friday April 19, and Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. To reserve your free ticket, please visit the Gargoyle Theatre’s website. Everyone is welcome.
