Main Street Project, which was MNU’s chosen charity in 2023, is hosting a fundraising gala called Hope Grows Here on Thursday, May 9, 2024.
Organizers of this gala, which takes place at Fairmont Winnipeg starting at 5:45 p.m., state that this event is a celebration of humanity, kindness and the belief that we can make a difference in the lives of those in need.
Main Street Project announced in April that multidisciplinary artist and performer Nereo Zorro will be creating live masterpieces at the Hope Grows Here gala right before the eyes of those in attendance!
Throughout the event, guests can mingle and connect with others who share their commitment to ending homelessness. In addition to a fabulous dinner prepared by the Fairmont’s Executive Chef, guests will have a chance to participate in a silent auction, featuring an array for items and experiences generously donated by local businesses and supporters, and two raffle opportunities.
Guests will be entertained by live music performances, inspiring speeches, and heartfelt testimonials from individuals whose lives have been touched by Main Street Project’s work.
