The Children’s Hospital Foundation’s in-person Teddy Bears’ Picnic is returning to Assiniboine Park on September 8, 2024.
After two years of virtual events due to the challenges posed by the pandemic, organizers are excited to celebrate the 35th year with an in-person gathering. They are currently recruiting healthcare staff for this special day to be healthcare volunteers.
Participation would contribute significantly to the success of the event. As a healthcare volunteer, you will get to experience activities that include the Dr. Goodbear tent, offering medical tests, MRIs, X-Rays, and more for children, teddy bears, and families. There will also be an I want to be a Scientist tent, designed to engage children in science-based activities, fostering imagination and curiosity.
Volunteer shifts will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. If you are interested, please fill out the form by scanning the QRC that is located on this poster.
