The Keith Lambert Memorial Labour Fund, which is available to MNU members who would like to further their knowledge in the area of labour studies, recently came up at the Executive Education Day, which prompted us to include this reminder.

Applicants are eligible to access funds only once in three (3) calendar years, and up to a maximum of $1,000. Applications are accepted year-round for this fund.

This Memorial Fund is named after Keith Lambert, who held several union positions and remained a strong advocate for nursing and the labour movement throughout his career at the Health Sciences Centre.

It was established in 1993, in recognition of Keith’s philosophy of effecting change through participation, so that other nurses can advance their labour education and become active union members.

Check out our Scholarships & Educational Funding page for more information on the Keith Lambert Memorial Labour Fund and the form to apply.
