Today we begin Operation Nurses Rock, a campaign intended to run alongside our social media SOS’s. Because as heavy and hard as cries for help are to read, what is the point of carrying on without hope?
If you see a rock in your travels, take a photograph and tag Manitoba Nurses Union on social. Leave it where you found it, or go ahead and hide it in a new spot!
The goal of this project is to remind Manitoba nurses of their value. Like Operation Lawn Sign in 2021, the aim here is to increase awareness about the sacrifices and struggles of the frontline. Thank you for joining us in this journey.
PS - We have not forgotten about our rural areas. Nurses rocks have been scattered throughout the province. Good luck!
