The Manitoba Marathon is looking for nurses – ideally with acute care, Emerg and ICU experience – to volunteer in the Manitoba Marathon's Medical Centre at IG Field on race day, June 18 (Father's Day).

Volunteers are required to be there for set up on June 17 at 10 a.m. until just after lunch, and then on June 18 (race day) from 0545 until about 1500.

Volunteers get a free shirt, fed snacks and coffee all day and get to hang out in IG field's Bison rooms on race day.

Nurses take care of participants who need medical attention at the end of the race, this includes hydrating, warming or cooling, med admin and sometimes more urgent care, which is then coordinated with WFPS and the medics onsite.

To volunteer, please click this link and sign up under the nurses section.
