In May, we sent out an Education Survey to all members for feedback on MNU educational offerings. This survey was sent out on May 11 and closed on May 18, and in it we asked a series of questions, the majority of which were multiple-choice.

Overall, our findings showed that a slight majority of members prefer in-person education. However, the gap between those preferring in-person over virtual education was not large, so the value of virtual education should not be discounted.

A majority of members stated that they preferred a smaller and more casual format of education, and another majority of members preferred hands-on, interactive workshops.

“We thank each of the members who took the time to fill out this survey,” said Shelby Colbert, MNU Education Officer. “This feedback we’ve gathered will go a long way to informing how we deliver education programming in the near future.”
