A reminder that the registration deadline for the 2023 MNU Fall Education Conference is July 31. This conference takes place at the Fairmont Hotel, 2 Lombard Place, in Winnipeg, on September 26 and 27.
The two-day event will include one full-day workshop for all attendees to take part in together. This workshop will focus on team building and creating a system for peer support in challenging times. The workshop will be hands on and engaging and will challenge attendees to get creative and foster new relationships.
On the second day, members will begin with a greeting from MNU President, Darlene Jackson, before taking part in two short but informative presentations; one on Workplace Health and Safety and one on Diversity and Inclusion. After lunch members will attend one of three workshops of their choice. Options include an Indigenous Blanket Exercise, Unionism 101, and The Basics of Labour Relations.
Spaces for the Fall Education Conference are limited and will be chosen by Worksite/Regional Presidents.
