It’s that time of year again, when MNU issues a call for nominations for the Board of Directors and, for 2024, also for the position of MNU President.
As per the MNU Constitution, the President is to be elected from the general membership for a two-year term by voting delegates at the Annual General Meeting. This will take place at the upcoming 2024 AGM.
For the Board of Directors, elections are required for the following:
- One member from Interlake-Eastern Region
- One member from Prairie Mountain Region
- One member from Winnipeg Regional Long-Term Care
- One member from Winnipeg Regional Acute Care
- One member from Health Sciences Centre
The term for these positions starts May 1, 2024, and runs until April 30, 2026.
The deadline for the above nominations to be received in the MNU office is midnight on Friday, January 12, 2024.
