The Manitoba Federation of Labour’s Health and Safety Conference is taking place February 2 & 3, 2023, and the early bird deadline to register is fast approaching!
This edition of the conference takes place at Canad Inns Polo Park and will feature a cross-union panel discussion on harassment and violence in the workplace, including findings from a new Canadian Labour Congress study about the prevalence of harassment and violence in Canadian workplaces and examples of how different unions have pushed for protections to combat harassment and violence on the job.
There will also be workshops on workplace health and safety incident investigations, an overview of Manitoba’s workplace health and safety law, and using ergonomics to prevent workplace injuries.
The early bird deadline is December 9, 2022, with a conference fee of $225 for those on the Winnipeg and Southern region, and for those North of the 53rd parallel a conference fee of $150. These prices go up by $50 each after the early bird deadline.
