Solidarity School has seen many members reaching out to us to share their stories and their needs for support over the last 10 months.

We have heard from many members who wish for us to expand our educational offerings and we are not only listening, we are taking action.

The foundation of Solidarity School is addressing the holistic needs of a nurse. So, we’re not just talking about running a local here, we’re talking about the importance of physical and mental wellness. We’re talking about ways we can support emotional health.

We aim to create comprehensive education that is empowering and fosters an environment of togetherness. From electing your executives to learning how to set better boundaries. From learning how to apply Robert’s Rules of Order to learning the importance of being inclusive. From learning how and when to best contact your Labour Relations Officer to knowing you’re not alone, we’re all in this together.

Solidarity School’s mandate is that the education we produce is always current, concise, and socially conscious.

Use it when you need it, know we are here to help, and remember, we are stronger together.

One initiative we have recently undertaken in Solidarity School has been to create short educational videos designed to help our members learn on the go.

From new member engagement to our latest video on Violence in the Workplace, we will continue to develop education and support you with resources that you can access at any time, from anywhere.

Please visit Solidarity School often to access these resources and always remember, we are here to help.
