One week from today, the Manitoba Federation of Labour and Safe Workers of Tomorrow will mark the National Day of Mourning on April 28 with a walk and a solemn ceremony.
The Safe Workers of Tomorrow (SWOT) Leaders’ Walk starts at 11:30 a.m. from the Union Centre and will proceed down Broadway to the Workers Memorial at Memorial Park, which was unveiled last year.
The Day of Mourning ceremony takes place at noon at the Workers Memorial.
We encourage any MNU members who are off-shift and would like to attend to please consider doing so.
